Josh's Latest Project

We wanted to share some pictures to inform and inspire you (and us). Sometimes we just need a reminder- why are we raising all this money? What is our goal? Where are we headed? Our goal is to love these precious ones, to be Jesus' hands and feet, and to welcome all those who enter our lives. What about you? Where are you called? We're so grateful that He has called you to partner with us in Uganda, but what does He want you to do today? Praying each one of us would have His eyes to see the needs all around us, and that we would do something about it!

the living God...

"By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail (drive out your enemies before you)" -Joshua 3:10

Do you really know that the living God is among you??

Do you acknowledge the presence of the holy in your daily life??

Are you aware of the divine in the midst of the mundane??

If we truly lived in light of His presence- the presence of the living God, the Lord of all the earth, creator of heaven and earth, the ALMIGHTY- we would constantly be in worship, our lives would sing to Him at all times, our prayer life would be unceasing.

I don't even know how to communicate what He is doing in my spirit lately- but I feel as though I am merely dancing around the edges of immensity, dipping my toes into His marvelous depths, on the precipice of something HUGE... stay tuned... "Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." -Joshua 3:5

I do know this. He never fails.

Backyard Gratitude

This weather has been simply gorgeous- and there is much for which to be grateful! It is a joy to live with Josh's parents during this time of preparation for Uganda- an added bonus is their lovely backyard! It has also been fun to enter Caleb's imaginary world of Backyardigans (a TV show on Nick Jr)- which has made our backyard all the more magical! And I was able to spend some time on Sunday with some gorgeous women to shower a friend with love. We are blessed.
