Overdue Life Update: November 16

We are not quite sure how to begin this update, but we wanted to let you know that God has repositioned us yet again. During our very first week at Central UMC in Linwood we realized that our family would not be a good fit for this church. We sought wise counsel and spent much time in prayer before making the difficult decision to submit our resignation. The church was very gracious and allowed us to stay in the parsonage for two weeks after we resigned.

We are now back at Josh's parents' home in Sicklerville. We are thankful to be close to both our families as we navigate this path of healing and waiting on the Lord. And in the meantime, Josh has found a temporary job doing construction in South Jersey with another former Uganda missionary. It's just like God to provide the right connections when we need them!

While we may never know exactly why the Lord led us on such a circuitous route, we trust His heart. He is good and His is kind. And He has granted us more time to seek Him and enjoy HIm. While we wait we ask that you would join us in praying for whatever the Lord has next for us- may we continue walking closely with Him, may He continue to heal our hearts, and may we be the people He can use wherever we are this very moment.

for Him,
Josh and Kelly
