Good Morning, Church!
Today's reading in Revelation is one of hope! One day God will make all things new! Praise Him!
Today's readings: Revelation 21-22, Isaiah 9-10, Psalm 111
"Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new". -Revelation 21:2-5
What a glorious promise awaits us!!!!! There is so much packed into chapters 21-22... please read them today... I don't have time or space to touch on all the wonders in store for us in the life to come! But it will bless your heart to read over them and meditate on heaven! Life on earth is rough. People we love pass away. Friends disappoint us. We never have enough money. Our kids bicker and fight. We are lonely. But just wait! God has plans to satisfy us- and not only satisfy us, but reward us! And we will be in His presence at all times. And there will be no more tears or sadness or death! Hallelujah!
Take time today to ponder life in heaven. Daydream about your future in His glorious presence! And as you do so, take heart! Let your hope of heaven get you through today. Let the glories of that amazing place shed a little light on your path! And smile. Know that one day this all will pass and we will be in His sweet presence forever!
With hope,
Kelly
