We were rejoicing in the fact that we've been well and healthy since Christmas! But now we need your prayers for health again :) Caleb and Seth are fighting colds, and currently the colds are winning.
Caleb's cough was so bad last night that I held him on the couch to prop him up in hopes of us getting some relief. We did the steamy bathroom thing, eating bread to soak up junk in his tummy, propped up for sleeping, tylenol/motrin for fever... the works. I may have gotten a whole hour total of sleep.
Pray with us that this would ease up quickly- we have a big weekend ahead of us (with an overnight to see dear friends in PA and sharing at three services at Trinity UMC in Mullica Hill on Sunday). Would you also pray for some of our teammates in Uganda who are also fighting illness (particularly un-fun parasites and amoebas). Thanks! We're so grateful we have amazing champions who are on their knees serious about missions!
Today we're clinging to this Scripture today: "Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. -Hebrews 4:14-16
He is enough for every need!
