Cornucopia...

"You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance." -Psalm 65:11

lavish. extravagant. beautiful. undeserved.  He just keeps heaping blessing upon blessing.  indeed, let us declare with the Psalmist:

"blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! selah." -Psalm 68:19

I've fallen off the journal wagon- but the gratitude keeps welling up in my spirit- so the list is un-numbered- and rightly so, as we cannot ever recount every blessing and gift...

--6am little blessings. my rowdy, snuggly call to prayer

--candles lit

--soft tunes gently welcoming the day

--brothers falling into gracious rhythm of play

--watching their friendship grow

 --friends of my own who always know they are welcome

--life is twice as good and half as hard when they are there

--glorious worship

--harmonies ascending to our good, good God

--surrender to His perfect will

--chocolate frosted cupcake

--challenge to spur one another on  towards love and good deeds

--new book

--new lessons:

--the privilege of prayer, the pain and the power

--saints who have gone before us

--brave missionaries who have left a legacy
