Matthew 5:1-20
God of blessing! You bless those who are poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, those who hunger for righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, and those who are persecuted. May we be counted among them.
Pray today for all God's people in Uganda to be salt and light right where they live- in their circles of influence. And I pray today that you would be salt and light right where you live! Salt preserves and adds flavor- light dispels darkness- pray for the work being done through Community Health Empowerment, bringing light to dark communities! And pray for John and Beth Muehleisen as they lead that ministry.
