is all I need...
He grants just what we need in every instance. He is so good to us. And I am deeply grateful.

Getting things on paper - I'm thankful for that too.
ReplyDeleteI stopped and took a moment to pray for your husband (and you too).
Hello! I am visiting for the first time and have so enjoyed reading your blog. Such a beautiful family and a great mission. I loved your list especially a steady God, who never changes. I am so thrilled to have found this blog and look forward to reading more. Have a blessed day.

I know I've said this before Kelly, but what you guys do – totally full of awesome. And I guess I have two favorites from a spectacular list – so many of them written very Ann-ish – like this one, my number two choice, "creativity. mess. this process. being made in Your image. Seth being made in mine" I heart that! but my favorite is this one because I get a chance to pray for you guys. The last one for Josh – and I just finished praying – hope he gets better soon. God bless and keep you and each and every one of yours Kelly.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your list!!! I love "scheduled rest. Sabbath. family movie night. home date." YES! Also, thank you for including the one about saying "No" so you could say "yes" without stress... I have honestly been struggling with this SO much. Thank you for this reminder!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Melanie
Thank you for stopping by my blog this morning. It's the first comment I think I've ever had from Uganda! I LOVE your list. Saying a prayer for your husband right now.
ReplyDeleteOrder in the chaos - I love that. I don't experience it much - but I love that. My oldest son went on a month long mission trip to Uganda. I wish all my boys could do that before they go to college or graduate from high school. Hoping your husband's fever is gone - and it is always a blessing have all my boys home - so I know how you feel! So glad I stopped by!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by MY blog - so here I find myself at YOURS!! And I'm glad. Was a blessing to me. I really appreciated the saying "no" so you could say "yes" without stress! This week in my bible study I was encouraged to make a list of my commitments, and pray about whether my hands were too full, and therefore not able to say yes to something God had for me - was great to do, and wonderful to make some adjustments! Re your comment on my blog, we are not actually missionaries - my husband is working in Jakarta. Not pretending it is the same, but we WERE called here, and certainly have a huge field amongst the people here!! :-)
