i've had my camera out a bit more these days. amazing what you see when you're looking through a lens. these moments could have been labeled mundane, or average, but because I stopped to savor and enter in to the moment- they became sacred.
-- little boy wonder
-- slimy slug, captivating them
-- my night and day boys- one intensely interested, one warily watching
-- happy heart home day, Sabbath rest
-- a morning to color and listen to worship music, quietly renewing our spirits
-- leisurely cup of coffee on a slow morning
-- daddy love = wrestling
-- joy and delight in their faces
-- this house full of men
-- little boys in bed early
-- sharing a bowl of popcorn
-- an epic movie snuggled up with my man
How can you pause and savor the little things today?
I love the photo of your boys looking at the slug! Priceless gem. Isn't it wonderful to have daddy love in the house? My son waits for his dad to get home from work simply for the wrestling :) Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonder what a camera can do with our focus! :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely post!
Oh, wow. I love your beautiful pictures. I really must think to grab my camera more often. Reading blogs will do that to you, I guess. Blessings to you!

ReplyDeleteEntering into the moments...yes, living in the story, stopping time, holding grace.
