Lenten Resources

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent.  Lent is hard, and dark, but looks forward in hope of Easter!  I've posted before about how we get our kids involved in Lent.  And I want to share a few free resources I found this year:

Devotions for Lent: based on well-loved Hymns
Lord of Glory: Names of Jesus
Children's Prayer Guide!
$0.99 Prayer Guide App
A Sense of the Resurrection- activities for kids- e-book just $7.99

I want us to pause and pray- perhaps sacrifice sleep- to intercede for Uganda during the season of Lent. I can't wait to see how He leads us and how He moves as a result of our fervent prayers!

I'll try to write a prayer prompt from the book of Matthew each day during this Lenten Season (40 Days, not including Sundays).  I'll leave the reading schedule here in case I fail to post every day you want to read along.
