homemade missions: Day #3

Your home can be a launching pad for missions.  You can bless the nations right where you live.  You can raise up world-changers.  but you can't do any of that without Him. 

"I am the Vine and you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." -John 15:5

We have to get this right.  If we do all the rest well, and forget this one thing, it will all add up to nothing.  We must lay a prayer foundation.  

• we need to be praying with our spouses regularly.  
• we need to pray over our homes.  
• we need to teach our children how to pray for the world.  
• we need to ask Jesus to open our eyes to the kingdom relationships He wants us to cultivate.  

So, today, will you pray?  Invite your spouse to pray with you.  Lead your children in praying over a map tonight.  Ask Jesus to place one person in your life today that you can bless.  Leave a note and let us know who you prayed with, or who God led you to today!
